Terms and Conditions for Unicare

1. Introduction

Unicare treats user data associated with its online services with the utmost care. Personal information is handled and secured responsibly, in full compliance with applicable privacy laws.

2. No Right of Withdrawal

Please note: there is no right of withdrawal for donations. Once a donation is made, Unicare immediately begins the process of purchasing necessary materials. As such, donors must explicitly consent to the waiver of their right of withdrawal before completing a donation. All products in the online shop are considered donations.

3. Liability

These terms apply to both individuals and businesses using the shop. By accessing or using the shop, users agree to these terms. Unicare reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing them.

4. Definitions

4.1 Cooling-off period: The timeframe during which a donor can withdraw from the agreement.
4.2 Donation: A financial contribution made to Unicare.
4.3 Donation form: An online tool for making a donation to Unicare.
4.4 Donor: The individual or organization donating through Unicare’s website.
4.5 Statutes: The goals and mission of Unicare.
4.6 Online donation: Monetary contribution via electronic authorization through the Unicare website.
4.7 Receiving party: Unicare, which receives donations based on the agreement.
4.8 Agreement: The contract between the donor and Unicare.
4.9 Remote agreement: A contract established through electronic communication.

5. Applicability

5.1 These terms apply to every online donation to Unicare.
5.2 By donating online, the donor agrees to these terms.
5.3 Unicare may revise the terms at any time.

6. Donation Terms

6.1 All donations go to Unicare.
6.2 Allocation of donations is determined by Unicare in accordance with its mission.
6.3 Ownership of the donated funds transfers to Unicare upon receipt.
6.4 Unicare accepts no liability for damages related to donations. Donors indemnify Unicare from third-party claims.

7. Obligations of Unicare

7.1 Unicare commits to using funds in line with its mission.
7.2 Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to secure communications and data. No liability is accepted for potential breaches.
7.3 Personnel with access to personal data are bound by confidentiality.

8. Obligations of the Donor

8.1 Donors must be at least 18 years old or obtain parental consent.
8.2 Donors must provide accurate identification information.
8.3 Donors may only donate with funds they legally control.
8.4 Fraudulent donations or identity misuse will be reported.
8.5 Consent from a partner may be required for significant donations.

9. Processing of Personal Data

9.1 Unicare complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
9.2 Personal data refers to information identifying a natural person.
9.3 Data is collected from donors, supporters, beneficiaries, and campaign participants.
9.4 Collected data may include personal, contact, and banking details.
9.5 Data is gathered via registration forms, direct campaigns, or voluntarily submitted.
9.6 Data is used for communication, campaign updates, fundraising, support coordination, and statistical purposes.
9.7 Data is stored securely and only accessible by authorized personnel.
9.8 Retention depends on consent and legal requirements; non-consented data is deleted within 30–60 days.
9.9 Data subjects have the right to access, correct, delete, limit, or transfer their data.

10. Exercising Data Rights

10.1 Requests may be sent to info@unicare-foundation.com.
10.2 A response will be provided within one month. In complex cases, a two-month extension may apply. Denials will be explained and may be appealed.

11. Final Provisions

11.1 Any disclaimers or privacy policies used by Unicare remain valid.
11.2 Legal disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Cologne, Germany.
11.3 German law applies to these terms.
